Preparation before mixing

Quality inspection and processing of raw materials

Before the mixing, the quality of all raw materials must meet the specified technical standards. If the inspection does not meet the quality requirements, it should be supplemented, such as plasticizing of raw rubber, pulverization of solid compounding agent, drying and screening of powdered compounding agent, Melting and filtering of low-melting solid compounding agent, heating and filtering of liquid viscosity of liquid compounding agent, etc. For compounding agents with lower melting point, such as sulfur, accelerator and anti-aging agent, the drying temperature should be lower than the melting point of 25~40. °C. In case of melting agglomeration. The mineral filler should have a drying temperature above 80 °C and the moisture content of the compounding agent should be controlled below 1.5%.

Ointment and masterbatch manufacturing

Sometimes it is necessary to use certain compounding agents into ointments and masterbatches. For example, sulfur, zinc oxide, etc. can be mixed with liquid softeners to form ointments for kneading. Carbon black, accelerators and chemical peptizers can be mixed with raw rubber to form a masterbatch. It can avoid flying loss of compounding agent during mixing and processing, reduce environmental pollution, speed up mixing, improve mixing quality and reduce energy consumption.

Weighing operation

The weighing and matching operation is a weighing and matching operation according to the type and amount of raw materials specified in the formula. It is extremely important to ensure process operation and product quality. Leakage, misuse and inaccurate weighing of the compounding agent can cause irreparable damage to the quality and performance of the product. Therefore, it must be meticulous, precise, not leaking, and good.

Weighing and matching operations are divided into manual operation and automatic operation. The former is labor intensive, the operating environment is poor, and subjective errors are inevitable. The key is to choose the weighing tool. Under the premise of ensuring the weighing capacity, we should use the weighing instrument with smaller weighing capacity so that the weighing amount is as close as possible to the capacity of the scale, so that the weighing error of each time is minimized.
